Podcast Report: One Drop Radio Episode #28
It’s been a while since I have done a podcast report. But I figured I should atleast do one once a month. The show is growing and there are now approximately 400 listeners.
This weeks show warms up with some nice foundation treats from Frankie Paul and Half Pint. I also get into a couple fairly current Sizzla hits, including “Ain’t Gonna See U Fall”, “Rise the Occasion” and “Give Me A Try”.
New Music:
Check out the latest re-lick of the Cherry O Baby Riddim. This riddim features a couple tough tunes, especially from Burro Banton and Alborosie. Also new from the John John label, check out the Mad Dog riddim. It holds a close resemblance of the 90′s Splash Riddim. This riddim includes nice tunes from Lady saw and Vybz Kartel. Make sure you also check out the new big tune from Mavado, “Japanese” on the Infrared Riddim.
New Mix:
For the last couple of shows I have been dropping off clips from my latest work in progress mixtapes. You get the chance to hear what they sound like before they are edited and completed. This week I give you a sneak peek of my latest classic mix, “Back In I Days” Vol. 2. Part one will be in stores very soon. This mix includes most of my favorite dancehall from 1991- approx. 1996.
