One Drop Radio Podcast .::Episode 24::.

Due to life circumstances, One Drop Radio is late again.

That doesn’t mean I skimped on the music. This week I start the show off hard core, with great culture tunes from the likes of Sizzla, Luciano & Warrior King.

In the new tunes department check out new riddims like the Movements, Stimulant from the Don Corleon camp and the Bad Fire Riddim (a personal favorite), which features a wicked new Buju tune.

In the mix check out hits on the Unfinished Business Riddim and the Look Gal, big tunes from Assassin, Elephant Man, Mavado and Buju Banton here.

As always, I take it back in time, you can hear classic riddims like the Heads Roll, The Medicine (Mad House Records) and the Ninja Bike Riddim.

[Podcast Report] One Drop Radio .::Episode 23::.

It’s been a while since I’ve reported on the happenings with One Drop Radio. The show is going strong and if you havent subscribed, its a must, its FREE.

This weeks show is full of new music and exclusive music. That is the new going trend with me. Play some music that the other guys can’t play.

As usual I warm up with an assortment of tunes from the late 70’s and 80’s from the likes of Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown and John Holt.

Exclusive Tunes: I have been sitting on a box of tunes that artists have been handing me, so I figured I’d deliver the goods. Check out music from Canada’s finest Humble, Sheldon Senior, my good friend Lee’tal, Skanks along side Anthony B and Prince Pankhi with “My Jamaican Girl” (Tough Tune).

Classic: Check out the classic vibes of the Smile Riddim and Things A Gwaan Riddim, big tunes from Ninja Man, Shabba Ranks and Garnett Silk in this set.

New Dancehall: Check out the biggest thing int he Caribbean, “Sweep” on the Self-Defense Riddim which is a remake of the Martial Arts Riddim. Also the minimalist vibe of the 44Play riddim, which is a new Esco Riddim. Check out the Delly Ranks heat hear “Clothes Fit”.

One Drop Radio Podcast .::Episode 20::.

Episode 20…. I can barely believe it. I got heavy with some nice new riddims this week. Check out brand new music from Buju, Jah Cure and Queen Ifrica on the Secrets Riddim. The Ifrica tune is going straight to number one. Also on the culture side check out the Show love riddim, its nice!

The early warm up consists of some nice tunes on the Kettle Drum, Boogie Down and Grab Yuh Lass riddims. The classic dance hall set contains my usual murder including the Chiney Gal Riddim, Sizzla tears this one up and the Bruck Bottle from the late 90s Shine’s label.

When it comes to the dance hall I dont think I dissappoint with the re-lick of the Coduroy Riddim now titled Tear Up Jeans, the Summerise Riddim and the latest from Stephen Mcgregor The Workout Riddim
